Your personality,abilities,and goals are essential in planning your own business.But,you need to think about your skills too.Being able to do a good job is essential.But having the knowledge and skills to do the job is very important.Having skill in one area does not necessarily mean you can do other things.You can operate your business in a couple ways such as you can use your home as the base.Some businesses allow you to stay home and work from your desk,workshop,or worktable.Writers and graphic artists,for example,work at home.Other businesses take you out to the cutomer,although you operate your administrative tasks from home.Business at home are all about doing the work you want to do,where you want to do it,and how you want to do it.You have an option of doing it part time or fulltime.Part-timers work diligently at night or on weekends on their own business and allow themselves the time and experience to grow into it.It would be better if you took longer to get your business started and be sure-footed than to hurry up and make mistakes that could be costly in time,energy,and money.
