What are the challenges of working at home?

Most people who work outside their home are used to encounter traffic everyday, office politics are always there, and they work with different kinds of people.Being with other people as a team, motivates you. When you work at home, you might feel isolated and lonely.
Sometimes work at home carried us away to the extent that it will takes over the house. We might overwhelm ourself and forget that we are working at home and we need to put boundaries between our house and our own home office.
You might find it really hard to get started because you think that you work for yourself now and you are the boss.Unlike traditional job, your hours and tasks are set for you whether you like it or not.In this case, you need to discipline yourself which is the hard part to do.You also need to have a time schedule.
Record keeping is one important thing to remember when doing your own home business. You will need to keep all of the receipts and documents in an organize place so you wont be looking everywhere when you need it.You need to have all of your expenses and income in record.Plus all of the government rules and regulations that there is no way around it.Aside from that,no vacation time, sick pay,or company benefits. No retirement plans, and health insurance. Those are things that you need to plan for,so save money.Set up a realistic budget that you can live with to grow as you go.Especially if you have family to support with.
You need to have a professional image when doing a business.Whether answering the business calls, your business cards,or your wardrobe is what convinces your client to have faith and trust in you.
Working at home takes a lot of effort due to a bunch of distractions like your family will be closer to your work. The spouse, childrens, and the dogs and cats.Sometimes they undermine you because they just don't take you seriously when you are hanging around the house in your cut-off jeans and t-shirt.You have to be firm with your familymembers and they must understand that all you are doing is for the benefits of the family in the future.
The front door and telephone are one of the many distractions.Good thing to do if you hear the doorbell, don't answer it.Let other people in the house do.When the home phone rings, don't it up,but listen to the message in case of emergency. You can return the call when you stop working for the day.Another distraction is the television. How can you focus on your job if the television is on?and the last thing might distract you is the refrigerator. So don't set your home office close to all of this.
